Lyrics: You’ve Been Restored by Jekalyn Carr

You’ve been restored
Back where you belong
After the enemy told you
You could never come back home
But thank God for His word
Thank God for pulling you
When you thought that it was over
Your purpose was rediscovered

You have been restored
You have been restored

I know the first Adam fell
When he disobeyed the master’s command
But the love of God looked at us and He said
I’ll give them another chance
Thank God for the second Adam
Whose name is Christ Jesus
Just when we thought it was over
Because of Him
Our purpose was rediscovered

You have been restored
You have been restored
You have been restored
You’ve been restored

I’ve put you back where you belong
I’ve put you back where you belong
And I made you stronger than you were before
I made you stronger than you were before

You’ve been restored (You’ve been restored)
You’ve been restored (You’ve been restored)
You’ve been restored (You’ve been restored)
You’ve been restored (You’ve been restored)

I’ve been restored (I’ve been restored)
I’ve been restored (I’ve been restored)
I’ve been restored (I’ve been restored)
I’ve been restored (I’ve been restored)

Welcome home
Welcome home
Welcome home
Welcome home
Welcome home

Welcome home
Welcome home
Welcome home
I’ve put you back, back where you belong
Put you back where you belong
This is what I was trying to give you the entire time
Oh, I put you back, put you back
Put you back, back where you belong
