Lyrics: Sunday by Koryn Hawthorne

Monday, new week same stuff
Got work I don’t wanna’ wake up
Thankful that You gave me life
Even though I don’t always do right
Tuesday, I done had enough
Keep pushing even though it’s tough
Loyal, even when I’m not
Each day I get another shot
So my mind’s made up
I’ma stay prayed up
It’s been a long week

I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til Sunday
I need You always
Not just for one day
(Oh Lord) I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til Sunday
I need You always
Not just for one day
I don’t wanna have to wait ‘til

Wednesdays, don’t bother me much
Thursdays easy ‘cause I got Your love
Throwback to before I knew what it was
Now I don’t stress about no Friday’s ‘cause
Friday when the check gone come
Ten percent then I can have a little fun
Weekend I can chill or some
Me and You a little one on one
So my mind’s made up
I’ma stay prayed up
It’s been a long week

I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til Sunday
I need You always
Not just for one day
(Oh Lord) I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til Sunday
I need You always
Not just for one day
I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til

I really need you on Monday
I really need you Tuesday
I really need you Wednesday
Oh I don’t wanna’ have to wait
Thursday, I don’t wanna’ have to wait
Friday, I don’t wanna have to wait
Saturday
I don’t wanna have to wait ‘til Sunday
I need You always
Not just for one day
(Oh Lord) I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til Sunday
I need You always
Not just for one day
I don’t wanna’ have to wait ‘til
Sunday
Sunday
Always
One day
To wait ‘til Sunday
