Lyrics: Heavenly Father by Steven Malcolm

[Chorus: Fisk Jubilee Singers]
Heavenly Father
Creator of all things
I humble myself
As I bow to Your throne
Let Your Holy Spirit
Win my heart and in my life
Please, give me strength
‘Cause I get a little weak sometimes
I need Heavenly Father
[Verse 1: Steven Malcolm]
Ayy
I need grace, I need peace in this season
I need trust, I need faith in what I been preachin’
‘Cause life done changed, I multiplied and look what happened
Got a family at the crib, I give my all to my kin
I give my last to the people that been with me from the start
Wit’ me when I built a buildin’ and it fell apart
Lord, I need You with me through this journey
If not, forgive me for bein’ lost

[Chorus: Fisk Jubilee Singers]
Heavenly Father
Creator of all things
I humble myself
As I bow to Your throne
Let Your Holy Spirit
Win my heart and in my life
Please, give me strength
‘Cause I get a little weak sometimes
I need Heavenly Father
Creator of all things
I humble myself
As I bow to Your throne
Let Your Holy Spirit
Win my heart and in my life
Please, give me strength
‘Cause I get a little weak sometimes
I need Heavenly Father
[Verse 2: Steven Malcolm]
Yeah, I couldn’t picture me not leadin’
I feel our culture been brainwashed, and I still follow
Get affirmation from likes and clicks on the ‘Gram
And see the next man and become unsatisfied with who I am
Guilty, Lord, I had to see my pride before I had to fall
Had to look inside myself and ask who I am
Take a look above and give thanks, amen

[Outro: Fisk Jubilee Singers]
