Lyrics: Closer by Jonathan McReynolds

How much will it take for me to change?
And tell me if that change will bring me
Close to You
It feels like You’re a universe away
But every step I take will bring me
Closer to You

All I ever needed life to be
Was for it to be You and me forever
I don’t have to find the missing piece
‘Cause the peace I need will come as I get closer

Closer
Closer
Closer
Closer
Closer
Closer
to You

Whoa, woo, yeah
[Teach me how to filter out the noise
Help me to experience You clearer
You took the rugged cross to fill the void, yeah
Now Jesus, it’s Your joy to draw me nearer]

[Closer]
[Hey]
[Closer]
[I wanna be]
[Closer]
[Yeah yeah]
[Closer]
[Lord bring me]
[Closer]
[Ohh]
[Closer]
[Closer] [Closer]
[Closer] [Closer]
[to You] [to You]
[I wanna be, yeah]
[I wanna be closer to You]
[Hey]
[I just really wanna be with You]
[wanna be with You]
[whoa ohh ohh]
[ohh ohh oh oh]
[Ohh]

See, all you ever wanted me to be (Woo)
All I ever want is to be closer
All you ever wanted me to be
All I ever want is to be closer
Say All You ever wanted me to be
All I ever want is to be closer Hey
[That’s all You really want]
All You ever wanted me to be
[Hey, that’s all I want]
All I ever want is to be closer
All I ever wanna be
[All I ever]
All I ever wanna be
All I ever wanna be
Closer
[Close]
to You
[Closer to You]
