Wake Up Lyrics by Dunsin Oyekan

Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello
This will go

There is an earthly mixture of the spirit and the flesh
While men slept the enemy came to sow tares in the Father’s vine
How long shall we continue like this
Remember where you started from
How long shall we continue like this
Remember where you started from
Wake up
Wake up
You sleeping soldiers wake
Arise from the dead
And let Christ give you light
Wake up, church wake up
You sleeping soldiers wake
Arise from the dead
And let Christ give you light

Hey, there is an earthly mixture of the spirit and the flesh
While men slept the enemy came to sow tares in the Father’s vine
How long shall we continue like this
Remember where you started from
How long shall we continue like this
Remember where you started from

Wake up
Wake up
You sleeping soldiers wake
Arise from the dead
And let Christ give you light

Restore, Lord restore
Bring us back to our first love
Draw us back to the cross
Let Christ be formed in us
Restore, Lord restore
Bring us back to our first love
Draw us back to the cross
Let Christ be formed in us
(Wake up)
(Wake up)
(You sleeping soldiers wake)
(Arise from the dead)
(And let Christ give you light

(Wake up)
The night is far spent
Wake up out of sleep
It is time for you to come out of sleep
It is time for you to recognize that the time of our departure is nearer than when we first believed
The night is far spent
The day is at hand
All the events, all the prophecies about the second coming of our Lord have already been fulfilled
And they are coming fast
The charge to wake up
Go back to where you first met the Lord
The charge for you is to say, Lord restore my fire
Restore my fire, O God
Restore my fire, set me ablaze again
Let us cast off the works of darkness
And let us put on the armor of light
Let us walk honestly as in the day
Don’t keep company around
Focus on where you are going
The light is shining
The Lord will give you fire again
And the Lord will have you walk in the light even in this day
As I pray in the name of Jesus Christ

Shine forth, church shine forth
There’s no better time than now
The kingdoms of this world
Have become our God’s and Christ’s
Shine forth, shine forth
There’s no better time than now
The kingdoms of this world
Have become our God’s and Christ’s

Somebody wake up
Church wake up
You sleeping soldiers wake
Arise from the dead
And let Christ give you light
Arise and shine for your light has come
And let Christ give you light
Let your light so shine before men
And let Christ give you light
Jesus is coming soon
Jesus is coming soon
My Lord and Savior is coming soon
And let Christ give you light
