Lyrics: Rather Be by Carla Prata

You ain’t tryna be with no one else you know it
You ain’t tryna be with no one

You’re probably laid up next someone you don’t really like
Probably face down so she won’t see
That your eyes say what you mouth won’t speak
You’d rather be somewhere else tonight
You’d rather be with me
With me no no

You’d rather be
You’d rather be
With me
With me no no

I aint trying say that
you picked the wrong
You been saying things to
All of your girlfriends
They think she a problem

Cant go in circles with you
But we can run this back
You just gotta say that
you dont really love her
And you gotta mean that

No eye contact, she dont like that
I can tell she holding you back
You already know I could set the scene
If you let me arch your back
I would never do you like that
Unless you like that
Aint gotta say it
I know what you mean
Thats why you’d rather be

You’d rather be
You’d rather be
With me
With me no no

[Nolais]
Look me in my eyes and tell me whah you really want
Cause it ain’t him
Never been him
Give me a reason not to tell him how you feel
I ain’t the messy type but I get dirty for you
No, I be outside at eleven thirty for you

You’d rather be
You’d rather be
With me
With me no no
