About Mr M & Revelation

Mr M & Revelation is a Nigerian gospel music ministry led by husband-and-wife duo Miracle Orabueze, popularly known as Mr M, and Promise Orabueze, also known as Mrs M. The couple are singers, songwriters and worship leaders whose music is particularly recognized for its strong indigenous Igbo identity. Based in Enugu, Nigeria, they combine contemporary gospel with traditional African praise, worship and Igbo musical expressions.

The ministry began in 2011 and has grown from a local worship initiative into a widely recognized gospel music movement. Their songs are often energetic and communal, drawing heavily on call-and-response patterns, African rhythms and indigenous expressions of praise. This distinctive approach has helped them build a strong following among listeners who appreciate gospel music that retains a clear connection to Nigerian cultural traditions.

Beyond their recordings, Mr M & Revelation are known for their live worship ministry and large-scale gatherings. Their 24 Hours No Limit Worship event has become an important part of their work, bringing together worshippers and gospel ministers for extended periods of praise and worship. Through music, ministry and these gatherings, the couple have established themselves as important voices in Nigeria’s indigenous gospel scene.

Early Life and Background

Miracle Orabueze and Promise Orabueze are originally from Nnewi in Anambra State, southeastern Nigeria. Their shared background and Christian faith eventually brought them together not only as a married couple but also as partners in music and ministry.

Miracle, who is popularly called Mr M, developed into the lead figure of the ministry, while Promise, known as Mrs M, became an important vocalist and worship leader alongside him. Their partnership has remained central to the identity of Mr M & Revelation.

Both also pursued higher education at Ebonyi State University. Miracle studied Industrial Physics, while Promise studied Applied Biology. Their academic backgrounds are distinct from their eventual careers in gospel music, but their university years formed part of the journey that eventually led to their ministry partnership.

The Beginning of Mr M & Revelation

Mr M & Revelation officially began on December 9, 2011. From the beginning, the ministry was built around worship and a desire to raise people with a strong devotion to God.

The early years were largely centered on church ministry, worship meetings and developing their musical identity. Rather than immediately pursuing mainstream recognition, Miracle and Promise concentrated on using music as a means of ministry.

Their decision to embrace indigenous Igbo gospel became particularly important to their development. They found a way to combine the language, rhythms and musical traditions familiar to their cultural background with contemporary Christian songwriting and production.

That approach gradually gave them a recognizable sound and helped distinguish them from many contemporary gospel acts whose music was more heavily influenced by Western worship styles.

Indigenous Gospel and Musical Style

The defining feature of Mr M & Revelation’s music is its strong connection to Igbo culture. Their songs frequently incorporate Igbo language and traditional praise expressions, while their arrangements draw from African rhythms and contemporary gospel.

Their performances are often energetic and highly participatory. Call-and-response vocals, percussion, repeated praise phrases and extended sections of worship are common elements of their music. This gives many of their recordings the atmosphere of a live church praise session rather than a conventional studio performance.

Their lyrical themes include thanksgiving, God’s faithfulness, divine protection, victory, testimony, spiritual warfare and the greatness of God. Songs such as โ€œOnye Inye Aka,โ€ โ€œIn Your Class,โ€ โ€œWarfare Praiseโ€ and โ€œOperempeโ€ demonstrate their preference for direct expressions of praise and declarations of faith.

The indigenous character of their music has become more than a stylistic choice. It is part of the ministry’s identity and one of the reasons their work has connected strongly with audiences in southeastern Nigeria and beyond.

Popular Songs and Releases

Over the years, Mr M & Revelation have built a catalogue of praise and worship songs that includes both studio releases and live recordings. Some of their better-known songs include โ€œOnye Inye Aka,โ€ โ€œIn Your Class,โ€ โ€œWarfare Praise,โ€ โ€œPraise Quake,โ€ โ€œHeritage Praise,โ€ โ€œMy Advocate,โ€ โ€œJesus Bu Onye Nefe,โ€ โ€œAkoro,โ€ โ€œLion of Judah,โ€ โ€œOji Oku Eri Aja,โ€ โ€œOperempe (Odogwu Ka Odogwu)โ€ and โ€œAt Your Feet.โ€

Their music has also increasingly taken the form of collaborative worship recordings. โ€œAkoro,โ€ featuring Able C, and โ€œLion of Judah,โ€ featuring Sunmisola Agbebi and Yinka Okeyele, are examples of their work with other gospel musicians.

Their catalogue continues to expand with new releases. In 2025 and 2026, they released songs including โ€œOperempe (Odogwu Ka Odogwu),โ€ โ€œOdogwu Wonder,โ€ โ€œEbube Chukwuโ€ and โ€œThank You for Answering Me,โ€ demonstrating their continued activity as recording artists.

24 Hours No Limit Worship

One of the most important aspects of Mr M & Revelation’s ministry is 24 Hours No Limit Worship, an extended worship gathering held in Enugu.

The event brings worshippers together for prolonged sessions of praise and worship and has grown into a major Christian gathering. It has also provided a platform for Mr M & Revelation to collaborate with other leading Nigerian gospel ministers.

Artists who have participated in the event include Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Chioma Jesus, GUC, Joe Praize, Preye Odede, Prospa Ochimana, Yadah and Emmasings, among others.

The event reflects the wider philosophy of Mr M & Revelation. Their ministry is not limited to releasing songs. They place considerable emphasis on creating environments where people can participate actively in worship.

Several of their recordings have also emerged from these live gatherings, giving their music the spontaneous and communal quality that has become associated with their ministry.

Ministry and Collaborations

Mr M & Revelation operate from Halleluyah City in Enugu, which has become an important base for their worship ministry. Their work there includes music, worship gatherings and other ministry activities.

Their collaborations have helped introduce their indigenous gospel style to wider audiences. They have worked with a range of Nigerian gospel musicians, including Nathaniel Bassey, Sunmisola Agbebi, Yinka Okeyele, Able C, Moses Bliss, Mercy Chinwo and others.

Their collaborations also demonstrate the flexibility of their sound. While their music remains strongly rooted in Igbo praise and worship, they have been able to work effectively with artists whose musical styles differ from their own.

Personal Life and Current Career

Miracle and Promise Orabueze are married and have built their musical ministry together. Their relationship is an important part of the story of Mr M & Revelation because the group functions as both a musical partnership and a family ministry.

They are also parents and continue to balance family responsibilities with their work as worship ministers and recording artists.

Today, Mr M & Revelation remain active in Nigeria’s gospel music scene. They continue to release new songs, participate in major Christian gatherings and lead worship through their ministry in Enugu. Their appearances at large events, including The Experience Lagos and other Christian gatherings, have further increased their visibility.

Their recent activity shows that their indigenous approach remains central even as their audience expands. Rather than abandoning their cultural identity in pursuit of a broader sound, they continue to make Igbo praise and African worship a defining part of their music.

Mr M & Revelation have consequently become one of the notable names in contemporary Nigerian indigenous gospel. Their contribution lies not only in the songs they have recorded but also in their demonstration that traditional Nigerian musical expressions can remain powerful within modern Christian worship.
