His new song “Not Guilty” featuring Red Rocks Worship, is a powerful celebration of the freedom that comes from being covered by the blood of Jesus. The song does not pretend that the believer has never sinned; instead, it acknowledges guilt honestly before turning to the mercy of Christ, whose sacrifice speaks forgiveness over the life that deserves judgment. Also, the song carries a deeply liberating truth: our freedom is not based on our innocence, but on what Jesus has done for us.

Not Guilty Lyrics by Tauren Wells

When I was guilty, caught red handed
Justice demanded pay for my sin
Before the Father, Your blood, my pardon
Cried out from Calvary
Take me, not him

Because Your blood spoke
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood flows
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood still holds
Oh,I am not guilty
Even though I should be
I am not guilty

There’s still a fountain that flows with mercy
It’s crimson waters wash every stain
Forgiveness runs in streams of freedom
To all the thirsty that call His name

Because Your blood spoke
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood flows
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood still holds
Oh, I am not guilty
Even though I should be
I am not guilty

Not ‘cause I was innocent
But because You covered me What a love, Heaven sent
By Your Goodness I am free Not ‘cause I was innocent

But because You covered me What a love, Heaven sent

Because Your blood spoke
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood flows

Because Your blood spoke
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood flows
I am not guilty
‘Cause Your blood still holds
Oh, I am not guilty
Even though I should be
I am not guilty

Oh, oh, oh
How precious is the flow
That washed me pure as snow
I know I should be
But I’m not guilty
Oh, oh, oh
How precious is the flow
That washed me pure as snow
I know I should be
But I’m not guilty
Oh, oh, oh
How precious is the flow
That washed me pure as snow
I know I should be
But I’m not guilty

Oh, oh, oh
How precious is the flow
That washed me pure as snow
I know I should be
But I’m not guilty
