Phil Thompson – Broken Pieces (Mp3 & Lyrics)

Download Broken Pieces Mp3 by Phil Thompson Ft. Grace Idowu

Phil Thompson is a worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist often associated with Christian and worship music. His style tends toward contemporary worship music: emotive, lyrical, often blending vulnerability, confession, and praise.
He presently released a new song titled “Broken Pieces” featuring Grace Idowu. The central image is brokenness is the notion that people are in pieces, incomplete, or hurt. But it transitions from brokenness into beauty, healing, and redemption. The promotional phrasing is: “Out of our deepest brokenness, God creates beauty”. This song is a strong reminder that having wounds, scars, fractures in life, or emotional breaks, does not mean you’re worthless or beyond help. In fact, it sets the stage for deeper dependence and encounter.

Lyrics: Broken Pieces by Phil Thompson

Life without new mercies
Is a broken soul
A heart that’s turned to stone
So grateful you’ve restored me
Once a vagabond
Your grace gave me a home

When I need assurance
When I’m battling endurance
You are there
When I’m growing weary
History reminds me

You take broken pieces
Shattered pieces
Like a puzzle
You put me back together
I’m forever grateful Lord

I know I’m not worthy
Of the love you’ve shown
When I was left alone
And now with every heart beat
every breath I breathe
Is for you and you alone

I will call holy
I will call you worthy
all my days
When I hear you calling
To you I will come running

New mercies Have found me
You’re with me You’ll never leave
Your wellspring Dwells in me
You’re with me You’ll never leave

Because of your grace I live
It’s because of your grace because of your love
Because of your wounds I’m healed
It’s because of your grace for me

Because of your blood I’m clean
It’s because of your blood because of your love
Because of the nails I’m free
It’s because of your grace for me
