Man Above Lyrics by Aaron Cole

[Intro]
Now let’s begin the story

[Verse 1: nobigdyl. & Aaron Cole]
A humble rapper with a terminal pen
The greatest must be a servant of men
What a turn of events
Dyl and Cole back to serving again (We back)
And the beat is crying murder again
But I ain’t turning ‘em in
My problems been no big deal, I won’t complain
No biggie, but I’m keeping my faith
I walk it out like U-N-K I trust the plan and then I send Him praise, okay

[Chorus: Aaron Cole]
All praise to the Man above (Yes sir)
Send it up, watch His blessings come
Usher in the spirit, we got white gloves
Sеnd my confessions to the Man above (Yеs sir)
There’s a price to this life, and I’m like (Yes sir)
I don’t fight with the flesh, I got Christ
Send it up, watch His blessings come
It’s all praise to the Man above (Yes sir)

[Verse 2: Aaron Cole]
Yeah, uh
What you want from me
Listen, He changed my life I live in luxury
See the evil in they eyes cause they love the green
Ayy, I’m rich in spirit, live above my means
I’m out in Switzerland ’cause shorty need the dividends
If the ops at the function, then I’ll still attend
Cause I know vengeance is the Lord’s, so I don’t benefit
If it wasn’t for that, we’d spin your block like a ceiling fan
Not enough space to buy art with all these plaques on the wall
Somedays I keep it humble, I know pride bring the fall
Other days I’m like, “Psh, they gotta see how we ball”
I’m like A-I the way I move with the cross, yeah

[Chorus: Aaron Cole]
All praise to the Man above (Yes sir)
Send it up, watch His blessings come
Usher in the spirit, we got white gloves (Uh)
Send my confessions to the Man above (Oh, Lord)
There’s a price to this life, and I’m like (Yes sir)
I don’t fight with the flesh, I got Christ (Yes sir)
Send it up, watch His blessings come, ayy
It’s all praise to the Man above (Yes sir)

[Interlude: nobigdyl.]
All praise to the Man above first of all (Dyllie)
Amen

[Verse 3: nobigdyl.]
All praise to the Man above, from His ambassador
Blessings probably take some algebra ’cause I can’t add ’em up
Me and Cole, like the Super Bowl, but this ain’t Canada
Paparazzi caught image of God inside they camera
Demons tryna catch the team, but they ain’t got the stamina
Emptied out the magazine, but we ain’t take no damage though
Eat the flesh, drink the blood, Hannibal (No)
This a covenant, it’s not a coven, this ain’t magical (This ain’t magic)
People build personas off of what they earn
I ushered in the Spirit, He said, “Let it burn”
Had to die to self so I could live and learn
Took the Lord’s Name into my veins, and I didn’t curse (Dyllie)

[Chorus: Aaron Cole]
All praise to the Man above (Yes sir)
Send it up, watch His blessings come, ayy
Usher in the spirit, we got white gloves (Uh)
Send my confessions to the Man above (Yes sir)
There’s a price to this life, and I’m like (Yes sir)
I don’t fight with the flesh, I got Christ (Yes sir)
Send it up, watch His blessings come, ayy
It’s all praise to the Man above (Yes sir)
