Lyrics: Hold of Me by James Wilson

Verse 1
If only you’d known me
If only you’d seen
Where I was, what I did and who I used to be

Then you’d know there was no
No hope for me
Till I came to an altar
And gave him everything.

PreChorus
I can’t understand how
He came and made me whole
But something changed
When I called his name
And all I know

Chorus
Something got a hold of me
That’s why I dance like its my last chance
I have been set free
And I will shout till I’m out of breath

I’ll be the first to tell you I
Don’t know how to
Explain how he changed my life

But When Jesus came in
Something got a hold of me

Verse 2
Now I have real joy
That nobody can take
And this joy is my strength on the darkest of days
And I have a song that
The angels can’t sing
Oh hallelujah I have been redeemed

I’m never going back to
The life I lived before
Who the son sets free
Is free indeed
And I know for sure

Chorus
Something got a hold of me
That’s why I dance like its my last chance
I have been set free
And I will shout till I’m out of breath

I’ll be the first to tell you I
Don’t know how to
Explain how he changed my life

But When Jesus came in
Something got a hold of me

Bridge
If you think that I’m being too loud
You ain’t seen nothing yet
If you think I’m undignified now
You ain’t seen nothin yet

I will dance I will run I will shout
Shout til there’s nothing left
I will praise You with all that I have
Praise til there’s nothing left
