I’ve Got a Reason Lyrics by Dorinda Clark-Cole

There are so many things
That God has brought me through
If I had all night
It wouldn’t be enough time to tell you
(I’ve got a reason to praise the Lord)

I could have been dead
Sleeping in my grave
But I thank God that it’s another day
That God has gave me just to live for him
(I’ve got a reason to praise)

The Lord has allowed me one more day
So I must give Him…
Give Him praise…Give Him praise
I’ve got a reason to praise the Lord

Verse 3
Many years have come and gone
But it’s amazing that God kept us through every one
And today, right now where I stand, I’ve got a testimony
I’ve got a testimony… I’ve got a testimony
(I’ve got a reason to praise)

The Lord has allowed me one more day
So I must give Him…
Give Him praise…Give Him praise

Cause he woke me up early this morning
(That’s the reason)
And he started me on my, my, my, my, my, my, way
(That’s the reason)
He opened my eyes and I can see now
(That’s the reason)
He opened my mouth and now I can talk, talk, talk, talk

(That’s a reason)
I was sinking deep in sin
(That’s a reason)
God saved me, put his arms around me and he forgave me
(That’s a reason)
I was out of your will and you rescued me
(That’s a reason)
You gave me another chance and you forgave me
(That’s a reason)

I, i, i
Got a reason to praise the Lord
